L'objectif de se magazine est de couvrir les nouveautés dans les logiciels de l'open-source reliés au graphisme et au multimédia, proposer des articles de fond sur ces même logiciels, mais aussi et surtout, vous transmettre et commenter des œuvres open-source. Nous aborderons peut-être le domaine du libre non open-source, mais il n'est pas notre priorité.

 The goal of this magazine is to cover the new in open-source software wich are linked to graphism and multimedia, suggest feature articles on the same software, but also and particulary, comment and bring you open-source artwork. We maybe approach the not open-source but free domain, but that isn't our priority.

Pour ceux qui ne connaitrait pas, le terme open-source est un terme anglais que nous pourrions traduire par "source ouverte" ou encore "source accessible". Il ne sagit pas la de se réfugier derrière la gratuité, l'open source peut tout a fait être payant (bien que je n'ai pas d'exemple à vous citer). Le but de l'open-source est de distribuer les sources qui ont permis sa création, afin de faire partager ses connaissances et de permettre des modifications, voire des améliorations de la part d'autrui.

C'est donc dans cet esprit de partage que nous vous apporteront quotidiennement info, nouvelle, histoire, et didacticiels, le tout appuyé par des créations open-source que vous retrouverez dans le CD-Rom joint à tout numéro ou directement sur notre site web : www.openmind.mag (je précise que ce nom de domaine ne m'appartient pas, je l'ai juste pris pour l'exercice, donc n'espérez pas y trouver d'autre info)

For those who didn't know the open-source word, i will describe it a little. The open-source software term have appear because the Free word was to simplistic. Open-source concept is to give the source with the creation (in many cases software, but not only), in order to transmit knowledge and allows modification.

It's in this spirit of sharing that we give you monthly news, story and tutorials, sustain by open-source artwork that you found in the attached CD-Rom in every copy or directly to our website : www.openmind.org (I'm precising that I didn't own this domain name, I just took it for the exercise, so don't hope found other information).
